Add Hyperlink in Adobe Illustrator 2023

To add hyperlink in Illustrator, select the complete hyperlink including https:// and copy it then paste it into the document. Save As the file in pdf format. Now open the pdf file, and then click the hyperlink, you will see that the link is clickable and it opened in the browser.

Following are the details steps that can be used to add hyperlinks in any document of Adobe Illustrator.

Step 1: Select the link that you want to add to the Illustrator.

Step 2: Copy the link by pressing Ctrl+C from the keyboard. You can also copy the link by right click and selecting Copy from the options.

Step 3: Go to Adobe Illustrator, document.

Step 4: Press Ctrl+V to paste the link.

The link will be pasted.

You can add any shape or image to hide the link behind it. So that when you save the pdf file, the link is hidden. Now it’s time to save the file to a pdf format, to make the link clickable.

Step 5: Go to File > Save As.

Step 6: Save As panel will appear. Add the location and the name of the file.

Step 10: Select View PDF after saving and click Save PDF.

The pdf file will appear in the browser.

Now you can click on the link that you added to the document.

The link will be open in a new document.
