2 Ways to Align Objects in Illustrator (Quick & Easy)
We are going to align multiple objects in Illustrator in this tutorial, to help you understand easily.
Step 1: First of all, open the design that you want to align in Illustrator. You can open any type of design whether it contains text, objects, or images.
Here we have opened a design in illustrator that we want to align.

1st Method: Align Object by Align Panel in Illustrator
Step 2: Grab the Selection Tool from the left toolbar.

Step 3: Select all the objects that you want to align.

Step 4: You can usually see the Align Panel in Properties on the right side of your workspace. You can expand the Align panel to see all the alignment options inside it.

But if you can’t find the Align panel in Properties then another way to access the Align panel is by Window > Align.

Shortcut key to Open Align panel in Illustrator
You can also use the keyboard shortcut key Shift+F7 to open the Align panel in Adobe Illustrator.
The Align panel will appear. Now you can use it to align the objects.

Align to:
As you can see there are different alignment options available in the Align panel. You can use any alignment option according to your choice to align the object.
Align to Artboard in Illustrator
If you choose Align to Artboard then all the objects will be aligned to the artboard.

As you can see here, we have selected the objects and then vertically aligned them, they are aligned with the edges of the artboard.

You can easily use any option to align the objects to the artboard according to your design requirements. You can align the objects Horizontally as well as vertically using the Align Objects options available within the Align panel.

Align to Selection in Illustrator
The most commonly used alignment is Align to Selection.

You can select the object and then select Vertical Align Center to align all the selected objects there in the center. The objects will remain at their position but aligned, as you can see here.

Other options are also available that can be used to align the object at the top or bottom of the Selection. You can use any according to your choice.
Align to Key Object in Illustrator

This option helps to align the object according to the one object in the selection.

2nd Method: Align by Smart Guides
Another easiest way to align objects in Illustrator is by using smart guides.
Step 1: Go to View and select Smart Guides.

Step 2: If there is a checkbox next to Smart Guides, it means this option is turned on.
Step 3: Select one object and you will see the guides are appearing as the alignment options.
Step 4: Place according to the alignment of the first object.

Step 5: Repeat for all objects on the artboard.

As you can see all the objects are easily aligned using the Smart Guides.
