How to Group Objects in Illustrator
To group objects, select the objects using the Selection Tool and press Ctrl+G from the keyboard. the selected objects will be grouped.
In Adobe Illustrator, a few simple steps can be followed to group objects. You can group shapes, vectors, text boxes, images, or anything that you have added to the artboard.

Select all the objects that you want in the group using the Selection Tool.

Step 1: Open the document that you want to work with to group objects. If you already have objects on the artboard, you can also group them.

Step 2: Grab the Selection Tool from the left toolbar. You can also press V from the keyboard to use Selection Tool.

Step 3: Select all objects by clicking and dragging on to the area that you want to group.
