To make a wavy line in Illustrator, select the line, and go to View > Distort & Transform > Zig Zag. Select the size, and ridges per segment and select Smooth. Click OK. The line will be wavy.

1st Method: By Using Zig-Zag
The Zig-Zag method is the most flexible way to make perfect wavy lines in Adobe Illustrator.
Draw a straight line by using the “Line Segment Tool” from the toolbar on the left side. Or you can also press “\” from your keyboard to activate the line segment tool. (Don’t forget to add a stroke to your line to make your line visible).

Select the line and then go to “Effect” in the “Menu bar”. A dropdown list will appear with different tools. Select “Distort & Transform” > “Zig Zag”.
“Zig Zag” panel will appear.
You can add the size of the waves in px for “Absolute” and in % for “Relative”.
Then you can also add “Ridge per segment”
Set Points to “Smooth” and click OK.
2nd Method: By Using Curvature Tool
Draw a straight line by using the “Line Segment Tool” from the toolbar on the left side. Or you can also press “\” from your keyboard to activate the line segment tool.
Don’t forget to add a stroke to your line to make your line visible.
Select “Curvature tool” from the toolbar on the left side.
Click anywhere on the line and then drag it in any direction to make a wave. In this way repeat this multiple times to create waves according to your need.
Press the “ESC” key to leave the curvature tool.
