Create a New Document in Illustrator
First of all, we will start by creating a new document in Adobe Illustrator.
Create a New File by using “File Menu” > New.

Draw a Rectangle on the Artboard

Step 10: As you can see the rectangle is selected, first of all, unselect it by clicking once on the artboard other than the rectangle.
Step 11: Now click on any part of the rectangle, and you will see that only one divided part is selected with the Selection Tool.
