Here are multiple objects on the artboard that we want to evenly space using the different methods in Illustrator.
1st Method: Align panel
Step 1: Select all the objects that you want to evenly space. Here we are selecting the shapes that we have drawn using the Rectangle Tool. As we have arranged them to be evenly spaced, but it’s also a great idea to evenly space them in a professional way.

Step 2: As you select the shapes, the align panel appears under the Properties.

Step 3: Click on the More options to expand the align panel.

Step 4: In the Align panel, you will see a section of Distribute Spacing with two more options that are available in the bottom left corner.

Step 5: Select Horizontal Distribute Space.

You can see the difference in both. As you can see the box that is within the bounding box is evenly spaced.

The amazing part is that if you have any distance value and you want to evenly space every object with that value, you can also do this.
For this select Align to Key Objects from the Align to: section.

One object will be selected. Now you can choose any shape and then evenly space every object according to the value.

Then add the value in the value box. Let’s say we use 30px to be added in the value box.

Then click on Horizontal Distribute Space.

All the objects will be evenly spaced according to the value and the key object that was selected.

2nd Method: Smart Guides
You can also evenly space the text and any object using the Smart Guides in Adobe Illustrator.
Step 1: To turn on the Smart Guides in Illustrator, go to View > Smart Guides. Smart Guides are very helpful to align and equally spacing the objects or text in Adobe Illustrator.

Step 2: Place the first two objects according to the space that you want in between them.

Step 3: Now if you grab the third and try to put it with the other objects then smart guides appear telling you the space is equal to the other objects.

3rd Method: Using Grid
You can also use the Grid to evenly space the text and objects in Adobe Illustrator.
Step 1: To use the grid, go to View > Grid.

The grid will appear on the artboard.
Step 2: Select and place each object or text on the grid on a line.
Step 3: Repeat for others in the same way.
