1st Method: Using Arrow keys
You can use the arrow keys to make a starburst easily. Arrows keys helps to increase the number of points according to your choice, depending on how many points you want in the starburst using the Star Tool.
Step 1: Grab the Star Tool from the toolbar. The Star Tool is available under the Rectangle Tool in the left toolbar.
Step 2: Click and drag on the artboard to draw a star, but without leaving the click use the Up Arrow key to increase the points.
Continuesly press the arrow key until you achieve the perfect number of points that you needed to make a starburst.
When you are done, release the mouse click.

2nd Method: Using Star panel
Another easy way to make a starburst is using the Star panel. Through this panel, you can add number of points that you needed. You can add exact numbers without creating some extra or less points in starburst. So using the panel, you don’t have to create starburst again and again, because you have added the points that you needed.
Step 1: Grab the Star Tool from left toolbar.
Step 2: Click once on the artboard using the mouse left click.
Step 3: Star panel appears.
Step 4: Add the points that you want in a starburst. Here we have added 40 points, you can increase or decrease depending on your design and choice.
Step 5: Click OK to continue.
Starburst appears as you click OK.
