2 Ways to Move Text in Illustrator(Easy & Quick)
In Adobe Illustrator, you can move text in two ways. Both ways are easy and quick. It just depends on you which method you prefer more. You can move the text using the mouse or keyboard buttons.

1st Method: Move Text using Mouse
As you can see, we have some text on the artboard. So we needed to move this text.
You can choose any text from your artboard that you want to move.
Step 1: Grab the Selection Tool from the left toolbar. You can also press V from the keyboard to use the Selection Tool in Adobe Illustrator.
Step 2: Select the text that you want to move using the Selection Tool by left-clicking once on the text.
The text is selected.
Step 3: Left click once on the text and, without leaving, drag the text to the position where you want to place it.
The text is moved to a new location.
Moving the text using the Mouse is a fast way. You can easily place the text according to your choice where ever you want.
2nd Method: Move Text Using Arrows Keys on Keyboard
Another method that can be adapted to move the text from one location to another is by using arrow keys on a keyboard.
Step 1: From the left toolbar, grab the Selection Tool. You can also use the keyboard shortcut V to use the Selection Tool in Adobe Illustrator.
Step 2: Select the text using the Selection Tool by left-clicking once on the text that you want to move.
The text is selected.
Step 3: From the arrow keys, press any key according to the location you want to move the text.
Here we are using the right arrow key to move the text to right.
The text is moved to a new location.
